WELCOME TO SAN ANSELMO
San Anselmo comes alive every Friday and Saturday night with "Live On The Avenue" summer music series. Enjoy shopping, dining and our downtown community, plus live entertainment at two downtown venues: Town Hall Plaza (525 San Anselmo Avenue) and Creek Park (nestled in the trees, roughly between 259 Sir Francis Drake Blvd and behind 636 San Anselmo Avenue). Low-back chairs, blankets and coolers welcome on the Creek Park lawn, however space will be limited on several nights based on attendance and your urge to dance.
San Anselmo Avenue is closed to vehicle traffic at 5:30 PM to provide a pedestrian-safe, family and pet friendly strolling experience. Many shops and restaurants will be staying open later. Follow parking signs to the town's many parking locations, but walking, biking, ride-share and public transportation is highly encouraged, All shows in June are Free Admission and family friendly. Bands are sponsored by several local merchants, but your gratuities to the bands are always welcome. Thank you for shopping and supporting our local businesses.
For dining, many of our restaurants advise reservations for indoor dining, and please be patient for walk-up and takeout orders as "turn times" are long due to demand. Click the link to our San Anselmo's merchants and restaurants below.
Public restrooms are located at Town Hall (525 San Anselmo Avenue. Portable restrooms can be found behind Creek Park, plus hand washing stations in 'Creekside Commons." Help keep our parks and streets clean, and enjoy your stay in San Anselmo.
